On February 17th, Turnagain CrossFit in Anchorage, Alaska suffered a partial roof collapse just 10 minutes before their Friday Night Lights, the first night of the CrossFit Open, was set to begin.
Several members were trapped and one, tragically, lost her life. The name of this member is not being released at this time out of respect for her family. This woman was a mother of 3 and came to do 23.1 with her gym family.
This is an unfathomable loss for her surviving family members.
Please consider donating to help them get through this devastating time.
This fundraiser was started by the owner of CrossFit Kainos in Soldotna, Alaska with the support and help from all the affiliate owners across the state. ALL funds from this will go directly to her surviving husband. There is a separate fundraiser for the gym.
