Reposted from @writingtoinspire I'm always the one who gives my all. I love hard. I leave my heart on the battlefield. I pour every ounce of my soul into every endeavor. I exhaust all outlets to make something work. . And oftentimes, it left me heartbroken and defeated. I'd feel low. I'd be left empty-handed with a sorrowful soul and many unanswered questions. . But there was something I gained: inner freedom. I never had to constantly question if I gave enough or tried my best. I always knew I did. And it allowed me to walk away with my pride and my head held high. . Because being able to love hard is a strength. And it is freeing. I never have to wonder or allow what-ifs to haunt me and to sabotage my future. I can lay my past to rest gently. Knowing I did enough. Knowing I am enough. And knowing that my heart will get what it deserves. . And that's what I hope you realize. I hope you stop shaming yourself for loving deeply. Your love is precious. It is a deep embodiment of goodness and wholeness. And it will lead you to greatness. . It will also liberate you. Because when you can walk away knowing that you gave your all—knowing that you loved hard and laid your heart on the line, you'll never cling to the past.
