The COVID-19 pandemic has also made CCSF more important than ever for people making difficult job and life transitions. When we advocate for an equitable economic recovery in San Francisco, it’s important for us to prioritize the needs of our working class families and continue to invest in workforce development. In this episode, we hear from CAA Outreach Specialist Ah Ngo, who shares her personal experience of how city college has changed her life. Following her story, we interviewed Fanny Law, City College of San Francisco ESL and Citizenship teacher, to learn more about how people can get involved in and support the programs at CCSF. We discuss CAA’s endorsement of Proposition O on San Francisco’s November ballot and how a “Yes” vote will help CCSF to meet the community’s growing needs through expanding classes and programs.
