One in Five Americans will develop skin cancer! Despite public health warnings to wear sunscreen, cases of the most dangerous form of skin cancer — melanoma — have been rising rapidly. The reason melanoma is so much more deadly than other types of skin cancer is the fact that it can metastasize, or spread throughout the body, more readily. Once melanoma spreads, it is harder to control and can lead to death!
