What a world, huh?
A whole lot has happened since the summer of 2020: the Covid-19 pandemic, societal upheaval and divisions, world chaos and upheaval, I feel a little lost for words.
The construction and remodel of my imaginary coffee shop has reached a fever pitch with sawdust, boxes, and paint (not necessarily in that order,) and there’s a lot is happening in my own life as well as in the world.
So…in the face of … everything, I’ve remembered the conversation I shared with Dr. DJ Kinney, historian, and host of the podcast, The Cold War Vault, which examines those frightening and dangerous times in world history.
