Speaking of cocktails, today Matthew is drinking a Bloody Season while Ben is drinking a Tom's Red Headed Girlfriend aka Ginny. Recipes below.
Bloody Season
- 2 oz Vodka
- 2/3 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Blood Orange Juice
- 2/3 oz Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a blood orange peel or wheel.
Tom's Red Headed Girlfriend aka Ginny
- 1 1/2 oz Old Tom (Murphy) Gin
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 3-4 oz Ginger Beer (pre-chilled)
- Add gin and lemon juice to a highball glass with no ice. Stir well to combine. Add ice and then carefully add the ginger beer. Do not stir.
