Universalism is the heresy that holds to some degree or another that most or all people will be saved. It is an extremely dangerous heresy (as all heresies are) because if one believes that everyone is saved in the end he is probably very unlikely to condemn, criticize or correct any morally reprehensible behaviors in the name of "compassion"!
