In one of our previous episodes, we spoke about making a business profitable. And one of the things said was... in order to have a profitable business, which is ultimately why people go into business, that involves having “systems” in place. Systems help build a valuable asset.
And...systems not only make it easier for employees to function on a more cognitive level within the company (in other words it makes the company more “user friendly” nowadays, I believe that’s referred to as your “company culture”). But, when effective & efficient business systems exist, it also makes for a more attractive business to investors when the time comes to sell your business, or even to attract a new business partnership, and/or collaboration, IF that is what the circumstances call for.
So now having all of that in mind, Dr. Curtis C. Cochran has created a business system, and it is essentially what this podcast is all about. That system is called E4. And it involves the different phases of the business ownership cycle that include E1:Entering, E2:Evaluating, E3:Enhancing, and E4:Exiting. But...there needs to be some flexibility for human creativity in order for these systems to work effectively and efficiently.
