My dogs have been there for me during tough times, and I had a cat who helped me get clean and sober.
Uncle Bill was my nickname growing up. I would always try and talk my neighborhood friends out of breaking into a house, or doing something unlawful, and I got a response one day, "Oh, shut up Uncle Bill. God, you're such an Uncle Bill." Then in college someone out of the blue called me Uncle Bill. It has happened several times in my life. So, I figured why not use it as the title of my first book? Plus, I have a niece and nephew so I am qualified for the title.
It's simply a feel good, fun, and heartfelt book that I hope will entertain and educate at the same time.
